Despite the call by the international world and the intellectual community to stop the act of discrimination across the globe, rather for it to be reduced it has continually grown across part of Europe and Africa.
I ask a question often, why do Africans discriminate against themselves?
I am yet to find a good answer to these questions as I ponder on these along the journey on my adventure.
There is a distinguished ‘relay-tionship’ between our intent and beliefs. In actual sense, the growth of any nation and people depend solely on the ability to relate with their immediate society either with living or unloving beings. The reason because ‘we cannot do without ourselves’. I have no doubt that discrimination is one of the greatest problem of all time that needs immediate cure and persistent vaccines. The mentality of different elements across the globe is becoming a big threat to travelers and tourists.
In one of my adventure, I realize discrimination had limited the growth of certain community and countries in Africa. It has led them to be hostile, unfriendly and mean hereby sending wrong motive to their benefactors.
Though on several occasions when I have been a victim due to the colour of my skin, it has always turn out to be ceremonial blessing for me like it was clearly written in the bible that “the rejected stone has now become the Cornerstone”. Yes, ‘when you discriminate, you don’t only limit yourself, you limit the advantages you stand to get from people’
You reduce your own worth and the value you which you can add to other people’s life.
As I journey throughout the world, i relate with the slaves, the poor, prisoners, rich, wealthy and the disadvantaged, not because I have so much expectation from them but because the configurations they have been packaged with are also useful for us.
In the presence of the world, we are ridiculed, rejected even dejected; it will be unfair if we can not put our house in order and promote common value that will promote unity and sustain common progress.
#MyAdventure is the collection of my thoughtful thoughts as I journey daily across the world.
