Discriminating "Johney" 2

Despite the call by the international world and the intellectual community to stop the act of discrimination across the globe, rather for it to be reduced it has continually grown across part of Europe and Africa.
I ask a question often, why do Africans discriminate against themselves?
I am yet to find a good answer to these questions as I ponder on these along the journey on my adventure.
There is a distinguished ‘relay-tionship’ between our intent and beliefs. In actual sense, the growth of any nation and people depend solely on the ability to relate with their immediate society either with living or unloving beings. The reason because ‘we cannot do without ourselves’. I have no doubt that discrimination is one of the greatest problem of all time that needs immediate cure and persistent vaccines. The mentality of different elements across the globe is becoming a big threat to travelers and tourists.

In one of my adventure, I realize discrimination had limited the growth of certain community and countries in Africa. It has led them to be hostile, unfriendly and mean hereby sending wrong motive to their benefactors.

Though on several occasions when I have been a victim due to the colour of my skin, it has always turn out to be ceremonial blessing for me like it was clearly written in the bible that “the rejected stone has now become the Cornerstone”. Yes, ‘when you discriminate, you don’t only limit yourself, you limit the advantages you stand to get from people’
You reduce your own worth and the value you which you can add to other people’s life.

As I journey throughout the world, i relate with the slaves, the poor, prisoners, rich, wealthy and the disadvantaged, not because I have so much expectation from them but because the configurations they have been packaged with are also useful for us.

In the presence of the world, we are ridiculed, rejected even dejected; it will be unfair if we can not put our house in order and promote common value that will promote unity and sustain common progress.

#MyAdventure is the collection of my thoughtful thoughts as I journey daily across the world.

My Adventure2... Discriminating 'Johney'

My Adventure 2… “Discriminating Johney”
The way you present your “Colour” and “Race” especially when it comes to an international scene, travel or gatherings matters a lot especially in the society where your colour is a threat which sometimes define your worth and gives you a faint opportunity to address cogent issues.

In one of my recent adventure to a growing African country, where most of my colourful colour mates now resides. I received, perceived and witnessed different attitudinal shocks at different levels. Well, I will share some of these things, consequences, effects and overall lessons you can grab from them.

I got the first shocker during a compulsory routine check in one of the boundaries when this custom officer was sitting. The first command he made was that; If you are from this certain country step forward, fortunately for me that was where I belong, he searched almost my blood, I couldn’t stop laughing at the act, I asked one of my colleague; ‘are we carrying bombs or what?’. To my dismay, the other travelers had to go because they presented their different coloured passport.

Disrimination… it has never helped this particular country, they are backward and confusion sets in wherever you face.
In my next post, I will share some of the effect and lessons that I learnt that you can apply from this particular adventure.
Feel free to make comment and mail me if you can.

My Adventure I ... sometimes ahead

My Adventure… sometimes ahead

I have been to virtually all the countries of the world except for few I didn’t remember or love to visit. Though all my visitations are less stressful and does not require the usual protocols of travelling, it has been an awesome experience for me.

In one of my recent visit to a favourite destination last year, I was privileged to address a mammoth crowd somewhere around South Carolina in United States.

A boy stood up to ask me a question; Sir! Where would you rather live since you travel virtually every time?. Without hesitation I answered him as I said, “I would prefer to live in the heart of people who have met me and the ones who have read my piece across various continent of the world”.
I want to live in their hearts, i want to live in their hearts, i want to remain even when I am dead. I want my name to open doors and my quotes to solve problems.

The whole crowd stood in awe and marvel at they heard. A man screamed from the rear, “What is the essence of EXISTING without LIVING”? I smiled as I replied, for many have existed but few had lived. ‘The purpose of your EXISTENCE is to make something else EXIST’ which are my central focus daily on fb.com/ademolaaoc. Immediately, the man walked up to me on the podium and grabbed the microphone to speak. “I am 85 years old, how can I Live? The hall became a personal charging centre; everybody were asking themselves a lot of rhetoric questions about the purpose of their existence. It was a memorable moment for me.

I gave the old man a clue though with the believe he can still make his living worthwhile, Find the purpose why you were created, birth the purpose and make sure you affect some hundreds positively before your departure. The purpose of creation is Service to God and service to Humanity. Solve as many problems you can.

Pour yourself into people, help solve problems, contribute to Human growth, volunteer for services and many more.

Life is not only about gaining but to share more of your gains in other to gain more.

MY ADVENTURE… Sometimes ahead

Overtime, I have gathered series of thoughts in my fictional approach to life. Some of these thoughts have been manifesting as if I drew a picture of where I wish to be. It is a collection of Vision and Experiences I have encountered. Many of these thoughts are Fictional though coming real. “You cannot FEATURE in the FUTURE you have not PICTURED.” I have read testimonials from this piece and that is the urge that I have to go online with it. Feel free to share, contribute, picture something for yourself and criticize it. In this piece I will be sharing with you, i hope and believe it will trigger you to live a brighter life. Enjoy… It is MY ADVENTURE …. Sometime ahead. ademolaOGUNLADE AOC fb.com/ademolaaoc @ademolaaoc

CONNECTION - It is not about who You know, it is about who knows You.

Your Network they say determines your Net-worth, for me, that is a perfect way to describe it.
Over the years, people tend to celebrate people on their contact list but in clear term can't even connect with them.
Connection is a two way thing, you can know someone and the fellow does not recognize you, in other way too, you can know the person and you're both in clear terms.

In a situation whereby, you both communicates and do things together, call one another and execute projects together, it can be called CONNECTION, in other words, CONNECTION is an existing relationship between two or more people, whereby there is a mutual benefit coming from both parties with a clearer sense of recognition {Ademola O, 2015}.

Plagiarism - What is not Yours is not Yours

Last year a prominent Doctor friend wrote on my facebook wall condemning my act for Copying his facebook post... I was so angry but realized I actually stole it.

Many people think of plagiarism as copying another's work or borrowing someone else's original ideas. But terms like "copying" and "borrowing" can disguise the seriousness of the offense.

25 Public Etiquettes You Should Know And Follow

These set of etiquette apply to you while on transit....

1. Stand on your right, walk on the left.
When walking along a station building passageway/hallway or using the escalators and stairs, always stand on your right side. Allow people who are quicker to pass on left, it is no different from the rules of the road.

2. Form an orderly line
